Beautiful Birds

These birds make winter look so magical and delicate. Treat yourself to a look at Alison Trentelman's Etsy shop to see more of her outstanding photography.

Papa Noel

I would love to go to Petit Déjeuner avec Papa Noel a l'Alliance Française! All the giddy french children make me giddy thinking about it!

Happy Thanksgiving

I love this print and think it's especially suitable for the holidays. This Thanksgiving I am thankful for the opportunity to study what I love, in a city I love, with the man I love.

Holiday Food

My two favorite food groups are:
1. Breakfast food
2. Holiday food

The latter mainly includes little snacks and cookies and the like since I am a vegetarian. Some people are shocked when they realize I can't eat Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas ham, but I'd take gingerbread cookies and spiced cider things of that nature any day of the year. Holiday treats also make fantastic gifts, no?

The Time for Gift Hunting Has Arrived

I am always on the lookout for the perfect gift for the perfect someone, and if I had a million and one dollars I would buy all kinds of gifts for everyone I could think of! It's especially nice to look for gifts around the holidays and imagining what I'll give to people "someday when I'm rich and famous." I'll share the loveliest finds with you. Etsy has the gift guides to end all gift guides, and they are updated frequently.

Autumn in Boston

I love taking walks in the Boston Public Garden now that it's fall. It feels like fall is supposed to feel- crisp, chilly, and lovely. It makes me dream about the holidays!
